Saw this on a TV in a bar last night, so you may already have seen it. But if not, you NEED this in your life. Don't read the comments, don't read anything, just watch it.
It's so random, it's hilarious. No idea what the hell it has to do with the product being advertised, but who cares?

Just when I thought the whole 'gorilla playing drums' zeitgeist had seen its day.
what pathos..
I've heard that was Phil Collins in the suit, desperate to have hair again.
Yes! I've been wittering about this since I saw the ad during the BB Finale on Friday (yes, I am that sad).
I saw it. Who cares what it is about. But it is about chocolate. Dairy Milk I believe. Oh Crap! Damn those really clever adverts.
Really clever takes real talent. My hat is off.
It's probably an act of revenge for Collins' codsing-up of Disney's TARZAN with that moany, whiny, meandering soundtrack.
If only writing radio ads was as much fun as tv .....
I've been trying to think of the connection between a gorilla, drums and choclate. It's taken me a few days, but I've finally got it ...
Crack.
As in the ad-men smoking it.
What's next? A cheese-grater surfing to the tune of Monty Python's 'Sit on my face'?
This one is for orange juice, believe it or not...
That was f-ing superb. Along the lines of that song: I grew up hearing the 'urban legend' that "In The Air Tonight" is Collins' cryptic account of personal tragedy and revenge: 1. man assaults Phil and his wife; 2. years later, Phil sees the same man drowning, does *not* lend a hand, watches bad guy drown, justice is served. Yeah, it sounds doubly absurd now, but this was back when there was no Internet, and you heard these things and passed them on, like that story about Rod Stewart getting sick backstage. Anyone?
Apparently it's something to do with expectation. The delicious expectation savouring that lovely Cadbury's chocolate, here represented by the Gorilla dreamily anticipating the glorious drum fill to come thundering in.
It's all boswelox if you ask me, but it's a cool advert.
At first you see it, and think "What does this have to with advertising?"
This is what: when was the last time you thought and talked this much about an advert? When was the last time I gathered my brother, girlfriend and dad around a laptop to voluntarily watch an advert?
When was the last time you thought this much about Cadbury's Dairy Milk?
Mission accomplished. Now I'm gonna go get me some chocolate.
Green & Black's, I hope.
Chocolate... really screws you up!
Possibly...
That ad was brilliant. Don't know what the point was but it made my day. Thanks for that.
Amazing the stuff one finds when looking for Torchwood.
First time I saw it was when they showed King Kong on telly (the 70's version with Jeff Bridges)the other day... there was no warning, it went straight into it, I thought I was losing my mind... surreal...disturbing... I was so upset I had to get some chocolate
